Bible Verses About Faith In Hard Times

Bible verses about faith and trust in hard times to Encourage You…

These are troubling times. The recent economic downturn has brought unemployment and crushing financial losses to many. Families are struggling, individuals are unhappy and discouraged. Many people face each day filled with worry and fear. Perhaps you or someone you love is about to give in to despair.

We all experience times of adversity in our lifetime. As the saying goes, what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. Turn to God and His words during times of adversity for strength and comfort. When we put our faith in him, he will help guide us to the path of happiness and peace.

It is a false teaching that claims that when you become a Christian you will never have upset in your life. Jesus had upset in His life: temptation, loss, persecution, and suffering at the hands of his tormentors leading up to and including His being nailed to a cross. He never promised that life would be easy for us, but He gave us His promises in scripture to help us when we struggle, whatever the struggles we face may be. I pray that these verses will truly encourage you as you face the challenges of life:

The godly has perished from the earth, and there is no one upright among mankind; they all lie in wait for blood, and each hunts the other with a net. Their hands are on what is evil, to do it well; the prince and the judge ask for a bribe, and the great man utters the evil desire of his soul; thus they weave it together. The best of them is like a brier, the most upright of them a thorn hedge. The day of your watchmen, of your punishment, has come; now their confusion is at hand.
